About the Artwork
Created in collaboration with Copenhagen-based artist Clara Selina Bach, Lily of the Valley is inspired by a drawing Clara made at six years old and the countryside surrounding her Danish summer home. Grazing horses, tulips and delicate lilies of the valley—her late mother's favourite flower—come together in a joyful composition that celebrates childhood curiosity, memory and the beauty of nature.
About the Artist
Copenhagen-based artist Clara Selina Bach creates vibrant, narrative-led paintings that balance abstraction with figuration. Drawing inspiration from folk traditions, the natural world and personal memory, her work is characterised by expressive colour, painterly mark-making and layered storytelling. Through her practice, Clara explores the emotional connections between people, places and nature, creating works that feel both deeply personal and universally resonant.
