A large chunk of the style of work that Satya does is inspired by and comes to life from her early childhood memories of drawing and creating without the fear of judgement or a need to attach meaning to the artwork. She likes to refer to her artwork & illustrations as "Play" because she is just playing, with colour, shapes, forms, ideas, materials, textures and textiles. She tends to use colour as an expression in her work and marrying that with the organic shapes and forms that have developed from pop culture, nature or just muscle memory makes her illustrations a piece that is open to interpretation.
